Hollins Strategic Land have submitted a planning application that seeks outline permission for up to 100 dwellings at land off Rode Street, Tarporley.
The site is well contained by three main roads and existing development. It benefits from being urban fringe in character, acting as a natural northern boundary to the linear pattern of Tarporley, in-keeping with the village’s historical identity.
Tarporley offers a sustainable range of services/facilities; the position of the site within the village promotes a good level of inter-connectivity with these amenities and the local community. Many of the services in the local area and along Tarporley High Street are within easy walking or cycling distance from the site. The site is also well positioned to offer great access to regular public transport services and to the A49 and A51, providing links to the wider area.
HSL have created a development vision for the site that maintains and enhances Tarporley’s distinct character and environment.
