Blunsdon, Swindon: Swindon Council Planning Committee approves HSLs planning application for up to 80 dwellings on land at Turnpike Road, Blunsdon. The site will be brought to the market later in 2026. For further information, please contact Paul O’Shea.
Semington, Wiltshire: HSL has submitted an application for 48 dwellings and Village Shop on land at Turnpike Close, Semington, Wiltshire. HSL promoted the land through the Development Plan and played a proactive role in the Semington Neighbourhood Plan process. The site was formally allocated in the Semington Neighbourhood Plan in March 2025. The proposals reflect community objectives and aspirations.
Bampton, West Oxfordshire: HSL is pleased to see its land interest at Bampton, West Oxfordshire identified as apart of a ‘Preferred Option’ for around 150 new homes at Bampton as part of the West Oxfordshire Local Plan 2043.
Hollins Strategic Land has submitted an outline application for up to 61 new homes on land south of Radford Bank in Stafford in an area with a significant shortfall of homes. The proposals are green infrastructure-led, with more than 50% of the site dedicated to publicly accessible open space, new woodland and meadow planting, and sustainable drainage features. The development would also provide 30% affordable homes, a new children’s play area, and enhanced pedestrian and cycle links to adjacent neighbourhoods, helping to deliver a well-connected and landscape-led scheme.

The proposals include a mix of housing types with 30% affordable homes, alongside new areas of public open space, landscaping, pedestrian links and biodiversity enhancements. The site is in a highly accessible location close to existing community services, with the scheme designed to integrate sensitively with surrounding homes and green spaces.
We have submitted an outline planning application for up to 50 homes on land south of Boughton Road in Moulton in accordance with local policy. The proposals include 40% affordable housing to support identified local housing needs, as well as green space, a sustainable drainage pond, and improved pedestrian connections including enhancements to the existing public footpath network. The scheme aims to deliver a well-considered residential extension that reflects the landscape setting and provides benefits for both new and existing residents.
HSL is hosting a community consultation event on Saturday 13th September regarding development of the Auction Field in Semington. The consultation will be held at Semington Village Hall. The proposal includes a new local shop (up to 280m²), new homes and open green space. The housing mix will cater to various needs, including apartments, terraced cottages, semi-detached, and detached homes, with 30% designated as affordable housing. The development aligns with the Semington Neighbourhood Plan. The consultation aims to gather community feedback on the plans before submitting an outline planning application, which will establish development parameters, with detailed aspects to be addressed in future Reserved Matters applications.
HSL is seeking views on its proposed vision for a new housing-led mixed-use development at Walmersley Brook in North Bury, Greater Manchester. HSL has been successful in promoting its land interest at Semington, Wiltshire. Having adopted a proactive engagement strategy which led to developing a good working relationship with the Parish Council and policy officers, HSL is pleased to see that its land interest is now a formal residential allocation for around 40 dwellings and provision for new village shop in the Semington Neighbourhood Plan, which was formally made in March.

HSL partnered with Gatley Golf Club to bring forward outline proposals for a landscape-led residential development comprising a mix of 278 family homes of which 50% will be affordable. The proposals were consented in January 2025 via appeal and deliver a new Urban Park, Green Avenue cycle route linking the new development to Rose Vale Park, a community hub and retention of the Heald Green Theatre.
HSL is pleased to have completed on the sale of land for 130 dwellings at Haydock, St Helens, to Anwyl Homes. Its delivery will not only bring forward much needed homes but will also help create wider community benefits that will leave a positive legacy in the area.
