HSL have a number of land interests in the Greater Manchester Places for Everyone Plan. Examination is now underway by the Planning Inspectorate and we are one of the main parties giving evidence in the hearing sessions.
The team took a break from all things land and planning and attended the Royal Exchange Theatre to watch the stage adaptation of Let The Right One In by Jack Thorne based on the Swedish novel and film by Jon Ajvide Lindqvist.
HSL are engaging in the development of the Stafford Local Plan and submitted representations to the Preferred Options.
HSL attended the Central Lancashire Developer’s Forum which provided an update to the emerging Local Plan and allowed engagement between officers and the development industry.
HSL is attending the Warrington Local Plan Examination this month and are proactively promoting the Warrington Garden Suburb concept in partnership with national housebuilders.

We are pleased that land at Purton, Wiltshire, has achieved consent for up to 47 homes and marketing will be launched soon.
HSL is pleased to have obtained outline planning consent for 50 new market and affordable homes in Willington, Bedfordshire, alongside a range of community benefits including an enhanced financial receipt for the parish council to spend on local improvements. We have been closely engaged over several years with the Parish Council and community in the preparation of its Neighbourhood Plan which was adopted in March 2022 with the site allocated for housing.
We have completed the sale of land for 195 new homes, 1ha of employment, community centre and shop in Forton, Lancashire, following achieving outline planning consent in November 2021.
We have completed the sale of land for 40 new homes, in Adderbury, Oxfordshire, to Hayfield Homes following outline planning consent in September 2021.
