We have been successful in the appeal against Fylde Borough Council's decison to refuse our planning application for 50 units within the sustainable settlement of Newton with Scales. HSL demonstrated a continuing need for new homes in the borough and in particular a significant shortage of affordable housing in the Parish. The multiple benefits of the proposal outweighed harm, with our careful approach to master planning and development parameters resulting in an acceptable form and density for the site and location.

HSL, in partnership with Savills, have sold the site at Shepshed, Leicestershire, to Persimmon Homes which benefits from outline and reserved matters consent for 270 dwellings.

The site located in a sustainable location on the southern fringe of the existing urban area within walking distance of Poulton-le-Fylde town centre and the numerous services and facilities it provides.
HSL been successful in securing an agreement with the NHS to promote a 7.6 acre site in Wiltshire. The site is significant for HSL in that it is our first acquisition to be made with a key public body.

HSL has secured planning consent for 170 units in a sustainable location in Fylde, Lancashire, through a successful appeal. The case hinged on landscape impact with the Inspector finding the moderate harm was outweighed by the benefits of the proposal. HSL worked with our allied consultants to deliver a concept that mitigated landscape harm and delivered a high quality design led sustainable extension to the settlement.
