Warrington, Cheshire

HSL is promoting 60 acres of land for residential-led development in South East Warrington. The site was included as an allocation for up to 300 new homes, a local centre and a primary school in the draft Warrington Local Plan but was removed in the final plan when other sites elsewhere in the borough became available for development. Notwithstanding this, the previous acknowledgment of the site’s locational suitability and sustainability for new homes and other mixed uses will see the site being brought forward in future reviews of the Local Plan when additional new housing sites will inevitably be required.
