Hollins are promoting a 5.5 hectare site through the West Lancashire Local Plan as a location for Greenbelt release to meet current and future housing needs. The site has been identified through a borough wide review as an area performing a limited Greenbelt function and as a location for potential settlement expansion.
Hollins Strategic Land has secured a site in Poynton which will be promoted through the Cheshire East Local Plan. In the emerging Cheshire East Local Plan, Poynton is regarded as a highly sustainable location and is identified as a location suitable for some housing growth. Within the Borough Wide Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment (SHLAA) the site has been assessed as being sustainably located and capable of development. The site has now been identified by the Local Planning Authority in conjunction with the local community as a potential housing site within the consultation draft of the Poynton Town Strategy.
Hollins Strategic Land is promoting an edge of centre greenfield site in a sustainable location. The site will be promoted through the emerging plan and a planning application to deliver much needed housing in an authority with a housing shortfall will be submitted soon.
