HSL has secured a 19.8 acre site east of Mount Owen Road in Bampton, West Oxfordshire. The site immediately to the south currently has a Reserved Matters application pending for 160 dwellings, having been granted outline consent in December 2017. Bampton is well connected to the strategic transport network as well as having good access to sustainable forms of travel, including a bus service which runs to the large towns of Witney and Carterton. There are rail services from nearby Swindon and Oxford which provide direct routes to London, Bristol and Reading. In Bampton itself there are a range of services for the local community including: a primary school, medical centre, grocery shop, pubs/restaurants, village hall churches and a library.
